Metalaxis Recycling is a growing Finnish company specialising in the purchase and recycling of valuable materials, including catalytic converters, printed circuit boards (PCB) and electronic waste.
We are looking for a practical, reliable and commercially minded person to join our Tampere team. This hands-on role combines warehouse operations, material purchasing and customer communication, with a clear opportunity to grow further within purchasing and customer management.
- Receive, handle and organise incoming materials
- Maintain warehouse order and stock control
- Purchase materials from customers and suppliers
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Communicate with customers and suppliers
- Support the evaluation and handling of catalytic converters, PCB and electronic waste
- Maintain accurate information about purchased and stored materials
The role will initially be more warehouse-focused, but during the trial period there will be an opportunity to gradually take on more responsibility within purchasing, negotiations and customer management.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Responsible, reliable and well organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Practical and willing to take part in daily warehouse operations
- Confident communicating with customers and suppliers
- Commercially minded and interested in purchasing and negotiation
- Proactive and willing to learn
- Able to work on-site at our warehouse in Tampere
Previous experience in recycling, automotive, scrap metal, electronics, warehousing, purchasing, sales or customer service is an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Starting salary: €2,100–€2,200 gross per month.
During the trial period of up to six months, there is an opportunity to grow into a broader purchasing role with increased responsibility. For an employee who successfully develops into this role, the salary may increase to approximately €2,600 gross per month + performance-based bonuses.
The exact responsibilities, salary development and bonus structure will be discussed individually with the selected candidate.
